The geopark is land of fossils, ocean sediment, volcanic rocks, minerals, vestiges of biosphere extinction and especially karst landscapes.
Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark, 300km from Hanoi, covers an area of 3,000km2, speading over 6 districts of Cao Bang province including Ha Quang, Tra Linh, Quang Uyen, Trung Khanh, Ha Lang, Phuc Hoa, part of Hoa An, Nguyen Binh, and Thach An.
This park is well-known for its biological diversity, abundant endemic flora-fauna species and ecosystems.
It is also home to many tangible and intangible cultural heritages, especially revolutionary relic sites, including special national relic site of Pac Bo where President Ho Chi Minh returned in 1941 to lead the revolutionary movement after spending over 30 years abroad; special national relic site of Tran Hung Dao Forest where General Vo Nguyen Giap established the Vietnam Propaganda and Liberation Army (the predecessor of the Vietnam People’s Army today) in 1944. This is the second UNESCO-recognized Global Geopark in Vietnam.
In 2010, Dong Van Stone Plateau in Ha Giang province was recognized as a member of the Global Network of National Geoparks (GGN) and became the Vietnam ’s first geological park and only the second geological park in Southeast Asia, after the Langkawi Geological Park in Malaysia.

Having hearty breakfast in hotel, leaving the hustling and bustling city behind, our shuttle bus takes us to cycling point for cycling. After one and half hour enjoying scenery on bus, we will arrival in Tam Dao where our support team and truck are prepare our bikes and filling up water for our group.
We fix up our bike and learn the rule of cycling trip in Vietnam. We commence our cycling through the verdant scenery and stunning landscape in central North Vietnam. You will quickly recognise the images of Vietnam country through rustic villages, cow and buffalo working on farms and schooling kids on the way back their homes, mixing with rugged limestone mountain ranges. We will cycle through peacefully village to contemplate the beauty of tea farms and farm trees plantation.
Have lunch enroute, after lunch we kick off our pedal to cycle on tarmac road lead to Vu Linh village. Exploring Dao Community and their culture. Cycle back road lead to Thuong Lam – hot spring water resort. Have dinner and stay overnight in Thuong Lam

Lam Thuong is small and peacefull village where Dao Hill tribe people have been living for hundred years, creating unique culture and identity.We cycle on single track trail and village road from village to village to admire stunning scenery. If the time permit, we will walk to wonderful waterfalll nearby village. Have dinner and stay with local people.

Day 4: Lam Thuong – Bac Ha
Following to hearty breakfast, we will set off our way to Bac Ha via Tan Duong and Bao Tan T Section. We will cycle through scenic route and fascinating landscape, passing many peacefull villages and markets. Stop on the way to experiene the daily life of hill tribe enroute, admire captivated rocky mountain ranges in bothside of cycling route.Have picnic lunch enroute. After lunch we continue our trip to challenge incredible pass to Bac Ha Town. Upon arriving in Hotel, we check in and relax. Dinner and stay overnight in Hotel.

Start early in the morning from hotel, we ride to Lung Phing then turn off the beaten path and single track to Sin Man, stop for picnic lunch en route, after lunch, we ride down hill to Coc Phai Town, then conquer the “Heaven Gate Pass2” prior to ride down hill in Hoang Su Phi Town.today is really awsome and spectacular scenery dotted with Flowers H’Mong, Tay,Nung, Dao Phu La..villages.Have dinner and stay in Panhou villages

Day 6: Hoang Su Phi – Ha Giang
Located in Vietnam’s far North, Ha Giang is the northernmost province which shares 270km long border to Yunnan province of China and bounded by Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Tuyen Quang and Cao Bang provinces. Covering an area of 7945.8 square kilometres, mainly comprising of limestone peaks and outcrops which help to create amazingly beautiful landscapes, while its population of 705,100 people belongs to 23 ethnic groups has formed a colourful culture and tradition. Day 7: Ha Giang – Quang Ba – Yen Minh
Setting off this morning we head out of town cycling for the first 25km on relatively flat road through the landscape of terraced rice paddy fields. Passing through minority villages we cycle the next 25km up winding roads into the vast limestone mountain range with its perpendicular walls of rock, climbing 800m towards the mountain road pass “Heaven gate 1”. As we pass through mountain villages sometimes covered by cloud, we will receive a friendly greeting from the local communities. From the pass we can look down at amazing views, including the famous vista of the Tam Son valley with the ‘Twin Hills and can spy Quan Ba town, Have lunch on summit and enjoy picturesque scenery. After lunch meal we set off our bike to descend to river and ride along to Gam river until we meet another pass again. We cycle uphill for the first few km before a descent of around 10km and then relatively flat terrain for the next 10km. It’s a challenging up and down terrain to an altitude of 1.025m before we make a final descent for the last 15km into Yenh Minh. We will have the chance to see the traditional homes of the local hill tribes. The communities in this area are Chinese.

Day 8: Yen Minh – Lung Cu - Dong Van
Today is great and incredible day with us whilst cycling in the heart of world listed Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark
Have hearty breakfast in hotel and take a quick visit colourful hill tribe market nearby hotel and then commence cycling on the way of Happiness road to Dong Van. You are rewarded by pristine nature and magnificent karsk Plateau scenery while cycling ascending to summit. Stop to visit and explore Hmong King Palace ( Vuong Chi Sinh Palace) and then we continue cycling to Lung Cu Pole Flag Tower. Have lunch enroute. After lunch we keep riding on back road to Dong Van Town. Upon arriving, do check in and have relax by your own.

Day 9: Dong Van – Meo Vac – Bao Lac
There is a market daily in the town centre of Meo Vac used mainly by the White Hmong, Tay and Lo Lo hill tribes. Women dressed in their brightly coloured traditional clothing walk into the town carrying their bamboo woven baskets laden with corn and vegetables. Today we follow a remote mountain road to Bac Me on desceding road, along the Gam river. After a 5km uphill cycle we make a 30km descent the follow a fairly flat road for the next 10km. The surrounding landscape with predominantly limestone formations is a surreal vista of peaks, troughs, towers and caves. The crops and dwellings seem to perch precariously on the hillsides. There’s a relatively gentle uphill climb of before we descend for the final 30km along flat terrain. We will pass people from the local minority communities along the way dressed in their vibrant tribal costumes. Stop on sideroad to visit local market or exploring daily life of hill tribal people. Have lunch enroute. Following lunchwe continue to ride along the bank of Gam river, conquere on relatively tough pass before descending to BaoLac town

Today is the most challenging cycling day in our trip. when we spend half day for 38 km ascending on the summit of Pia Hoac and then down hill on paved road to Cao Bang City. When we ride we will capture of sublime limestone mountain range and explore the untouched region in frontier area. Have lunch en route. After lunch meal, we keep going to Cao Bang city. Have dinner and stay overnight in Sunny Hotel

Day 11: Cao Bang – Tra Linh
Hearty breakfast in hotel, we kick off our pedal from hotel to Pac Po. Enjoy pristine nature and stunning scenery as we ride on tarmac road through peaceful villages. interact with hill tribe people on the way or school kids go or from school. We keep our way to Pac Po on newly undulating road.
Pac po is holy destination for Vietnamese people – the cradle of Vietnam Revolutionary from 1930 -1945, where President Hochiminh was the first time set his feet to Viet Nam fartherland after 30 Years living and working in abroad.
Pac Po is located at between high mountain ranges and stream, river, share border with China at milestone 108 Km. Hochiminh decided himself to set up this area for initialy Vietnam Revolutionary.
Visiting this historical relic, the traveller understand about Post Vietnamese Revolution and Hochiminh Life as well.Upon arrival of Pac Po, we spend our time to pay tribute to the predecessors and Hochiminh, who led Vietnamese people to revote against Japanese Troop and French military expedition to gain independence in 1945.After Visiting, we gear up our bike to ascendingly ride to Gate of Heaven. Admire stunning sightseeing and lush rice paddy fields as we ride along border belt , cross bamboo bridge then we cycle through quaint villages and rice paddy fields.
