Day 2: Hanoi – Cuc Phuong National Park
After having breakfast in hotel, we leave bustle and hustle behind, our shuttle bus will take you to Cuc Phuong National park on scenic route, passing Red River Delta rural area. You admire stunning green rice fields and tranquil villages. upon arrival park, we do check in and have lunch in local restaurant at the park head quarter. After lunch, we take first visiting the Endangered Primate Rescure Center and Turtle Conservation Center of the park, where you can observe some of the rarest primate species in the world. The primate center house specimens of langurs, loris and ribbon species, include the citically endangered Delacour’s langurs, Golden – head langur, tonkin snub – nosed langur and black crested Gibbon. After visiting and learn about the tast of conservation, we come to hotel and have dinner in .

Day 3: Cuc Phuong National Park – Trek to Khanh Village
Get up early to enjoy pristine nature and the sound of Gibbons, we have hearty breakfast and commence visiting the cave of prehistoric man, where human skeletons ans stone tools date back to some 7500 years old have been found, leaving the cave, our bus will bring you to central park on on scenic route. We pass through the core of tropical jungle to Bong center where we start our trekking journey to Ban Khanh village. We trek through dense tropical forest to admire thousand years old trees and meet some rare animals enroute. Upon arrival in Ban Khanh – peaceful and hospitable Muong ethnic community, stroll around the village to learn about their daily life and culture, enjoy delicious home – cooked dinner with homestay owners and stay overnight in Ban Khanh eco homestay.

Day 4: Ban Khanh – Thuong village – Ngoc Son Ngo Luong Nature reserve.

Disembarking the raft, motobike will bring you to Thuong village where boast an alluring Mo waterfall and welcome Muong ethnic minority. You will enjoy lunch at eco homestay located next to the waterfall. In the afternoon , we will trek through tropical forest, ascending to the hill and stroll down to green valley to Ngoc son Ngo luong. Day 5: Khuong Village trek to Mon Village
Have lovely breakfast at Mu stream homestay, you will stroll around the Khuong village to learn further about their everyday life of local peolpe and then follow a short trail to Mu village where you are excited at incredible Mu waterfall and a simple remaining water-power rice mortar. Typically, one of the best our door activities you can do today is swimming. After lunch time, you will come back to Mu stream homestay. In the afternoon, you will hike on trail running through the lush village and stunning rice paddy fields to Mon village. Arriving eco homestay, relax by yourself and have dinner with local family.

Day 6: Mon village trek to Hieu village.
Enjoy delicious breakfast in homestay, we commence our new trekking day to Phu Luong nature reserve. We will hike on single track to Coi Gao village and then turn off to the forest. On the way you have chance to hike through one of the most beautiful route links between two nature reserve. You will hike under canopies of great trees, sometimes going through small springs and may be lost in the sound of nature some hours, finally, you will reach to Phu Luong nature reserve. Have picnic lunch en route, keep trekking out of forest at sunset time, you will hike on the village road and capture the fascinating image of the immissions of cooking smoke from various stilt house of Thai ethic community.. arriving at Hieu eco village. You will be warmly welcome by friendly homestay owner, have dinner and stay overnight with Thai Family nearby waterfall.

Day 7: Hieu trek to Kho Muong Village.
Get up early to stroll around the village or go to waterfall to swim, come back homestay for breakfast, we continue our trekking day to Kho Muong villages. we start hiking from homestay, passing tranquil village and stunning rice field to Pho Doan Town where open regularly weekend market. If we are lucky we meet colorful hilltribe market. After visiting, we keep hiking through picturesque rice terrace to kho muong village. today we will trek through the central area of Phu Luong nature Reserve. It is blessed with breathtaking scenery, magnificent limestone panoramas. Arriving in Kho Muong eco homestay, spend your time to visit Cave nearby village and walk around the village to witness their activity life. Have dinner and stayover night in Thai eco homestay.

Day 8: Kho Muong Trek To Hang Village
Today is hike 50% on village paths single track trail, through rice paddy terraced, cross stream and 50% on an old disused unpaved French road – the original Ho Chi Minh Trail. There are sone good descents and several more treams crossings. The trekking is the remote yet one is never far from a villagers tendingfields..relax from the heat of the days in a local home while lunch is cooked before continuing to a village nestled between steep karst mountains. It is recommended to stroll around the villages and join in as the villagers go about their daily lives.Or relax in one of the three eco homestays. After a leisurely breakfast, hike through the narrow valley to the junction where we hike to the fantastic Ma river. Take a boat upstream a short way ( approx 40 minutes) past string of minority villages. Arriving at meeting point with driver, we take bus to Mai Chau for lunch.After lunch, taking time to walk around Mai Chau Village by some gifts for your friend.

Say good bye Mai Chau, we jumb on bus to. Enjoy brilliant scenery on the way to Van Long Wet land Reserve. Have lunch enroute, after lunch, we continue to explore magnificent scenery on the way to Trang An – world heritage site take three hours boat trip to explore maverlous scenery and admire stunning nature, picturesque limestone mountain, visit some holy temples on our way to learn about Vietnamese traditional religion. Following to the rice paddy trail lead us to Tam Coc ( three grotto) to admire wonderland. Spend two hours boat trip to discover breathtaking scenery on Ngo Dong River. Have dinner and stay overnight in Tam Coc Hidden charm resort.

When trekking we stay in friendly hotel, guesthouse or homestays. Some are more basic than others! Bear in mind that some of the places we overnight in are not on the standard tourist trail.In larger cities and towns, our hotels are generally more western style and are three or four hotels or resort. Please do not expect the same standard as you would your home.
Homestay in the villages is simple interm of bedding condition and ementies. We will sleep on beds or floor with mattress, clean sheet, pillow and mosquito nets. Toilet is usually western style.
Foods and Drinks
All the meals which, are mentioned in itinerary, are included in the price of this tour. Most of meals are Vietnamese local food in Homestays . while in towns, we will enjoy Vietnamese cuisine in delicious restaurants. Meals consist of a variety of banlanced dishes and aim for universal appeal, we avoid highly spiced foods. Vegetarians are certainly welcome and are always accommodated, please let us know of any dietary concerns at time of booking. Beverage and alcoholic drink are not included at mealtime or in restaurants
when we transfer, ride by minibus ( no trekking day), our bottled waters are always available for you ( two little for one day for person with wet tissue). When we have trekking days, we will offer cold water and wet tissue in box plus fresh tropical fruit, soft – drink, energy – drinking, ( five little water for trekking day/ person). Beer is freely available everywhere in Vietnam, but not include in our trip.

All our guides have great knowledge of history, local culture, and religions of the area where you are cycling and introduce that experiences for you . our guides have been trained in this field and is fully licensed in tour guiding by Vietnam National Tourism. Passport &Visa information
All visitors are required to have a valid visa to enter Vietnam. A one month tourist visa is usually sufficients for most visitors, though it is possible to arrange three months or six month – multiple entry visa for regular visitors. The Snail Adventure Tours company is authorised to issue visa on arrival at Noi Bai Airport in Hanoi, Danang International Airport in Danang, and Tan San Nhat in Ho chi Minh city.The same authorisation proceduce and a minimum of 5 days working notice is required. Our tour price do not include insurance. However, it is a condition of joining our tours that traveler are fully insured for any medical expenses they may incur whilst traveling. At the start of your travel the tour guide will ask and collect your insurance document and will note down the policy number and emergency contact number.Travel insurance is compulsory for any participant. It is adviced that all travelers should have travel insurance covered before your departure. This will be helpful incase of medical emergency evacuation. It is with go safe. Vaccinations are not officially required by the Vietnamese authorities, However, immunization against cholera, hepatitis, typhoid, tetanus, polio, and Japanese encephalitis is strongly adviced.Please consult your doctor for further medical advice. Also bring mosquito repellent. Wearing long sleeved shirts and slacks from dusk onward and avoiding perfume is also recommended. In addition to an ample supply of any prescription drugs you are taking ( a prescription which can be filled incase your pills go missing) bring medicines for: headaches, diarrhea, constipation, insect bites, sorethroats, eyes drops, cuts, etc. Medical standards outside Hanoi and Hochiminh city, SiemReap and luang Prabang are lower than those found in western countries.
Personal medical kits
You should bring along a personal supply of basic medical items such as plaster, aspirin, insect repellent etc. In area of limites or suspect medical facilities, some travellers also like to take their own medical kit which can be used by the local medical staff in case of accident or illness. Our adventure tour leader carry a comprehensive First Aid Kits ( include a sterile pack) for emergencies but do not dispense medicine.
Exisiting medical conditions.
All persons joining our tours are assumed to be in good health and to have a sufficient level of fitness to complete their chosen itinerary. If you have existing medical condition or disability you must make this known at the time of booking. If accepted on the tours, you must also make your condition know to the cyclign tour leader.
As vietnam is long and narrow country from the north to the south, climate conditions vary considerably. The climate can be divided into three distinct patterns between the north, central and the south regions. The climate in the north generally humid and suptropical. Although the winter months from october to march can be colder with temperature from 8 15 degrees. Summer months, may to september from 28 – 40 degree. Meanwhile south Vietnam enjoys tropical climate all year round, with little variation throughout the year ( around 27 – 35 degrees) however, may to November is the raining season when sort heave downpour are quite frequent. Central Vietnam lies somwhere in between. The coast strips is usually dry and hotter from April to October whileNovember to March is wetter and cooler. A light rain jacket and small umbrella are recommended year round.
Pack essentailly for hot conditions athough December through to February warmer clothing is needed. Bear in mind that the region is tropical ( humid) and can be hot. Lightweight rainwear is advisable at all time. The north is cold at night during winter. Highland areas around Sapa are likely to be cooler especially at night and you should pack accordingly. Cassual clothes are the most practical.

Water bottle: water bootle along the trail must never be considered as drinkable. Take 1,5 litre personal water bottle ( preferable insulated). Our support crew on the trek provide sterilized water each meal time to replenish your supplies. Also energy scacks ( nuts, Cereal bars... are recommended whilst on trek. Walking poles: there must be useful for the up hill and down hill in this tour. Adequate poles can be bought in Hanoi.
Sunglasses. A good pair of sunglasses are good for protection against UV rays. Sun Hat, High Factor, Sun Cream/ Block & lips salve bring suncream to protect your skin against the sun. Combination sunblock/ lipsalve is ideal for facial protection.

Luggage whilst on trek. This should consists of a main piece of baggage, a holdall or kitbag for your trek and a daypack to carry your personal gear. We recommend you have holdall and kitbag for your trek in Phu Luong. You overnight bag will be taken to the village night stop by vehicle
Day bag: One each trekking day you will be required to carry your day pack or light rucksack, large enough to carry essential items such as water, snack, rain coat and sun / weather protection.
Luggage storage in Hanoi; For a small charge you can use one of hotel based in Hanoi to leave the bulk of your gear while away on treks on the jungle trail to Fansipang mountain and descending through stunning rice terrace to Sapa valley.
