Day 1: Phnom Penh
Welcome to Cambodia . Arriving at Pochentong  International Airport, Snail Adventure Tour guide and driver will greet and pick you up to the hotel.You have a free afternoon to explore and to visit some of the city's many highlights and enjoy your first expereince of  Khmer culture . You can visit the sumptuous Silver Pagoda with 5000 silver floor tiles, located in the Royal Complex, the Royal Palace or the ancient Wat Phnom temple, set apart from the bustling streets. The city's Psar Tuol Tom Pong (Russian Market) or the art-deco Psar Thmei (Central Market) offer an opportunity to do some bartering. There will be a group briefing at 17.00 at the hotel.

Day 2: Phnom Penh to Sihanoukville
This morning we will transfer to Sihanoukville, Founded by King Sihanouk and once a sleepy port and beach town it is now a popular resort situated on the magnificent coastline along the gulf of Thailand. After lunch we will sort out our bikes and have a gentle ride to stretch our legs. You will have time for an early evening swim or stroll along the white sand beach before dinner.

Day 3: Sihanoukville 
This morning we will cycle to the Ream National Park. The park is the only one of its kind in Cambodia and home to mangrove swamp, forest, waterfalls and white sand coastline. Many species of wildlife can be found here. We will loop back to the hotel this afternoon and you’ll have time to relax or explore the town.

Day 4: Sihanoukville to Kampot
Today is our first full day on the bikes. We follow the coast to the quiet colonial town of Kampot, passing through beautiful countryside and scenic fishing villages with their colourful boats, along our way. The region is reputed to have the best seafood in the country.

 Day 5: Kampot to Kep
Today we head to the former French colonial town of Kep. The modern beach resort has emerged alongside the ruins of its colonial past. Set in beautiful countryside and tree covered hills, Kep is renowned for its idyllic surroundings and the local delicacy crab, which is served in many restaurants. We take a boat trip before lunch to visit Koh Tansey (Rabbit Island) a stunning tropical Island with four beautiful beaches. This afternoon you can swim, relax and explore the area. We will return to Kep at around 3pm.

Day 6: Kep to Phnom Penh
We make an early start, heading away from Kep, cycling along a quiet route.  We will begin on sealed roads travelling on to red dirt tracks for a few hours as we pass through small villages where the main forms of transport are ox carts and water buffalo. This afternoon we transfer by vehicle to Phnom Penh

Day 7: Mekong Cruise – Royal Palace – National Museum
Breakfast at hotel. Cycle to the Mekong Islands and visit weaving villages and observe daily activies. After lunch take the boat back to Phnom Penh to see The private quarters of the Royal Palace, now home to the royal family and very close to the public. At the northern area of the palace grounds is Silver Pagoda, the most sacred shrine in the country. The next stop is the National Museum, exclusively dedicated to Khmer art and sculpture. The majority of the exhibits are from the Angkor period from the 9th to the 15th centuries, but some date back from as early as the 4th century.

 Day 8: Phnom Penh to Kampong Cham  
You can transfer out of Phnom Penh for 35km or cycle from our hotel. We leave the city centre and take a ferry across the Mekong, then cycle on narrow trail along the river bank to a village where we meet with those who’ve taken the vehicle transfer. There is a 20km stretch on dirt road, too narrow for the support vehicle but not a difficult cycle. The vehicle will meet us again when we re-join wider road. We pass through traditional villages with wood houses on stilts. Local children race over to greet us. The small quiet roads are a real pleasure to cycle on. Kampong Cham is a charming city with a feel of the “real” Cambodia. Traces of French colonial rule mix with modern development. Once we reach our hotel there is the option to ride around the city along the river. We stay in a guest house overlooking the Mekong River.

Day 9: Kampong Cham to Kampong Thom
Today we enjoy a beautiful ride along the Mekong River and over an impressive wooden bridge before arriving into Kampong Thom. A lovely town on the banks of the Stung Sen River. It contains two main temples the Sambor temple and Prei Kuk.

Day 10: Kampong Thom to Siem Reap
We cycle this morning to the Prei Kuk temple near Kampong Thom city, you have time to look around Prei Kuk and the surrounding area. The central part of the temple is divided into three main groups. Each group is located in a square lay out surrounded by a brick wall.  We will cycle on a short distance to our lunch spot. After lunch, we transfer to Siem Reap.

Day 11: Angkor Wat – Angkor Thom – Ta Prohm – Kravan Village
The Angkor Temples are now very busy, so our cycling will start early in the morning (at about 6.30) to avoid the crowds before breakfast. Visit Angkor Wat Temple. A breakfast box will be provided in a the local restaurant in front of the temple. After breakfast continue cycling to the West Gate of Angkor Thom, visit Bayon Temple, the Terrance of the Elephants and proceed through the Victory Gate to visit Ta Nei temple and the jungle temple of Ta Prohm. Lunch will be provided at a local restaurant. Head back to hotel and visit the Kravan Village on the way, where you can see the locals crafting small souvenirs and doing daily activities.

Day 12: Roluos group – Banteay Samre – Preah Khang temples
Breakfast at hotel and cycling tour through a secondary road from Siem Reap across the countryside, to see the traditional houses, orphanages and schools.  Visit the earliest built temple of Angkor era, Bakhong, Preah Koh, Lolei and  have lunch in the local restaurant. In the afternoon we will continue our tour to Banteay Srey, Ta Som and Preah Khan Temples

13: Siem Reap  - Tonle Sap
This morning we cycle to Kampong Phluk. We take an early morning boat trip on the Tonle Sap (Great Lake) the largest freshwater lake in Asia. You will have time this afternoon to do some shopping and sightseeing. This evening there is a celebratory meal together to mark the end of the cycling.

Day 14: Siem Reap Onward
The tour officially ends this morning. Hotel check out time is midday. We will arrange a free transfer from the hotel to the airport  (Siem Reap) for your international flight home.
