Day 1: Hanoi – Mai Chau – Pu Luong – Tan Phuc – Trek to Ban Hang (L, D)
Today morning, at 8:00 AM our guide and driver will come to pick you up at your hotel and depart Hanoi for Pu Luong Natural Reserve via Mai Chau. This scenic drive takes around 3 hours. Along the way, pass fields of tapioca and sugar cane as well as rice paddies. Reach Mai Chau valley by lunch time. We will have lunch in Pom Coong Village and then drive 22km further into the reserve to begin the trek for approximately 2, 5 hours; we will arrive in Hang Village. Spend the night with a local Thai family in a traditional house built on stilts. Take rest for few minutes then we will stroll around the village to observe daily life activities of the locals. Tonight we will have dinner and overnight in stilt house of white Thai minority people in Hang village.
Day 2: Ban Hang – Trek to Kho Muong Village (B, L, D)
After breakfast in the home-stay, we will start our trekking day. In the morning, we will walk for around 4 hours on a rocky path running through jungle, cross stream to lush green rice paddy. We trek through rustic village, rice paddy to original Hochiminh trail. Lunch will be served in a village along the way. After lunch, we will pass through several Thai villages before arriving at the village of Kho Muong. Tonight we will have dinner and stay the second night in a Muong minority village.
Day 3: Kho Muong village – Trek to Cao Hoong Village (B, L, D)
Today we will have a full day trek as we climb to the Pu Luong range. En route pass through a number of small hamlets and minority villages. After 3 hours of light ascent, descend to the village of Cao Hoong, a village of Thai ethnic minority people and have local lunch. In the afternoon, take rest in the stilt house and strolling around the Cao Hoong village.Tonight we will spend the third night in stilt house of Thai minority village.
Day 4: Cao Hoong – Trek to Hieu Village (B, L, D)
After breakfast, we will start our trek to Hieu village. Have an around 6 hours trek through the verdant countryside. The trek path runs uphill and downhill through forest, rice terraces and scenic villages. Our lunch will be served in Local family in a Thai village on the way to Hieu village. Arrive in Hieu village in the afternoon; take rest and walking around Hieu village and enjoy fresh air beside waterfall.. Tonight we will have dinner and spend the fourth night in the Thai village of Hieu
Day 5: Hieu Village – Canh Nang Town – Mai Chau (B, L, D)
After breakfast, we will trek toward Ma River. The trek is quite gentle since we descend a wide-open valley. After 2 hours trek, we will reach Pho Doan Town where we visit to the local market. Following, trek Ma River, on the way see nice view of river, paddies and water wheel. Back to Pho Doan town, our driver will pick us up and transfer to Mai Chau for a late lunch.Tonight we will spend the night at home-stay in Pom Coong village. Enjoy the music and dancing show after dinner at Pom Coong village.
Day 6: Mai Chau – Hanoi (B, L)
Today is a relaxing day with a stroll in Mai Chau Valley to observe daily life activities of the local. Our lunch will be served in local house before driving back to Hanoi.Arrive in Hanoi at around 5:00 PM,
